# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • It tastes like summer in a glass without any of the guilt or heaviness of sugary drinks.
  • You can literally make it in the time it takes someone to text that they're on their way over.
  • Fresh strawberries do most of the work for you, so it feels fancy but requires almost no skill.
02 -
  • Always strain this drink because nobody wants to bite down on strawberry seeds mid-sip, and the texture difference between strained and unstrained is actually huge.
  • Add the sparkling water right before serving instead of earlier, because if you let it sit too long with the bubbles already in, you'll end up with flat lemonade and nobody wants that.
03 -
  • If you're making this for a crowd, prepare the strawberry base in a large batch and let people build their own drinks by adding sparkling water and ice to their glasses, which somehow makes everything feel more interactive and fun.
  • Freeze whole strawberries instead of using regular ice cubes because they act as both cooling agent and garnish, and they look prettier as they slowly melt into your drink.
